Over the years, this special family owned garden has increasingly produced good teas and this year is no different. This 51st lot is no different. The muscatel flavour that Darjeeling second flush teas are known for is quite pronounced in this lot. There is delicate astringency in the tea and long floral notes that makes it long in the mouth. A tea worth tempting.This tea deserves it's name, "Black Muscatel," as it has plenty of the choice attribute, plus the strength of character to go straight to the play-offs.
